Protectal bring a socially responsible ethical business ethos and a specialist team to focus on the needs of those less fortunate than us.

We will deliver on our promises with creativity, innovative and cost-effective methods backed off with integrity, pragmatism and honesty.

Protectal want to be recognised as the trusted first choice solution provider to support by our clients, team, partners, supplier and authorities in supporting the most vulnerable in our society.

Management Team

The two (2) members of the Protectal management team for the NAPpad. Their core skill-sets are around engineering, design consulting, manufacture and delivery.

Peter Wood

Peter Wood

A performance improvement specialist with over two decades of senior experience of leadership in successful businesses. Delivering complex and challenging change initiatives and strategic performance improvement to align commercial ambitions for growth and profitability while maintaining the efficiency of the business operations across a spectrum of organisations within the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Peter’s clients ranged from Banking & Finance, Technology & Communications, Care facilities and Government.

Peter proactively engaged the Home Secretary to instigate the ‘Child Rescue Alert’, (to enhance the police recovering abducted children) across the UK. He was also responsible for working across government and 400 independent local authorities, to agree, implement and manage ‘Government Connect’ a secure information sharing platform to reduce the number of child fatalities in abusive homes.

In 2019 he was invited to take part in the Parliamentary Review into Social Care by Lord Pickles.

In 2021, he was awarded the High-Sheriff of Lancashire Award for his ‘exceptional contribution to community service during the Covid-19 Pandemic’, following the set-up, rapid manufacture & supply of c12,000 PPE consignments, (masks, visors and protective gowns), to UK frontline services. By pivoting a renewable energy manufacturing. The outcome meant frontline workers had protection, disadvantaged children had access to school meals, vulnerable people received care and comfort packages and volunteers were able to work safely.

Ron Moore

Ron Moore

A former professional footballer before he created his shipping container manufacturing business in 1963.

His company managed the design, manufacture and supply of specialised container equipment to the shipping, offshore, intermodal and rail industry across the world becoming one of the largest in the specialised container builder in the world.

Ron won the Queens Award for Industry for his achievements. In 2021, he was awarded the High-Sheriff of Lancashire Award for his ‘exceptional contribution to community service during the Covid-19 Pandemic’, following the set-up, rapid manufacture & supply of c12,000 PPE consignments, (masks, visors and protective gowns), to UK frontline services.
